Jenny Binet
Founder & Principal Designer
With over six years in the industry, Jenny is the Founder and Principal Designer of JLB Designs, a Philadelphia-based interior design firm. She's always been captivated by the way a space can make you feel, and that fascination drives everything she does. Jenny takes the time to truly understand her clients, translating their personalities and stories into rooms that feel authentically theirs.
Jenny's love of design started early. Growing up in Philadelphia and spending summers "Down the Shore," she was rearranging furniture at 3 a.m. before she could explain why it mattered. That pull toward the coast eventually led her to the University of Rhode Island, where she studied Textiles and Design and gained hands-on experience working in Newport, RI.
Today, Jenny is known for her detail-oriented, solution-driven approach. Whatever the room, the home, or the location, she puts herself in her clients' shoes to create spaces that feel personal and lived-in. Because at the end of the day, nothing matters more than the spaces we surround ourselves with, every single day.
When she's not designing, you can find Jenny down the shore soaking up time on the water, exploring new restaurants, popping into fun local shops, or spending time with her friends, family, and dog. Jenny credits a lot of her efforts to her parent's who have helped her bring various ideas of hers, over the years, to life!

Ann has always been a maker at heart. From crafting her own jewelry and clothes to dreaming up clever solutions to everyday problems, creativity has never been just a hobby for her, it's how she sees the world. After 40+ years in the corporate world, Ann is finally letting her creative side take the lead with her new venture, The Crooked Hat, a furniture refinishing business dedicated to giving forgotten pieces a second life. Ann's motto has always been "I can make that," and that spirit is exactly what she brings to JLB. The Crooked Hat plays a crucial role in bringing any vision to life, crafting one-of-a-kind pieces you won't find anywhere else. Meet Brian Binet, Dad
Brian does it all. From small fixes to big projects, he has a knack for finding solutions that fit his clients' needs whether it's about aesthetics, function, or both. If something needs to happen, he's the one who makes it happen (whether he likes it or not!). That same hands-on spirit made its way into how he raised his kids. From repainting Jenny's childhood bedroom six different times to assembling furniture and hanging just about anything, Brian has always been the go-to guy for getting things done. These days, you might even find him and Jenny wallpapering a friend's home together, passing that same "figure it out and make it happen" energy on to the next generation.
